The Trikāya doctrine (Sanskrit, literally "Three bodies") is a Mahayana Buddhist teaching on both the nature of reality and the nature of Buddhahood. The 3 "bodies" of Buddha:

  • Dharma-kaya
  • Sambhoga-kaya
  • Nirmana-kaya
